MATERIAL
CORDURA 305 POLYESTER (POLYURETHANE COATING) / NYLON

The main fabric is made of CORDURA® POLYCARBONATE, an original material developed in collaboration with INVISTA. The base fabric is CORDURA® 305D polyester ox, which is highly durable and resistant to friction and tearing. Its surface features a polycarbonate coating that is more durable than standard PU coatings, offering superior resistance to abrasion, wear, and light, while slowing the rate of deterioration caused by hydrolysis. It is also highly water-resistant and water-repellent. The product is available in four colors: a unique charcoal-tinged "BLACK" exclusive to CIE; an "OLIVE" inspired by sage green seen in European military wear; a desaturated navy called "GRAY NAVY" inspired by the Polish military navy; and "LIGHT GRAY," based on the pale gray of all-weather coats used by the U.S. Navy. The custom CORDURA woven label features CIE's original olive color, and the original CIE label is made of back satin woven on traditional shuttle looms. The zippers use CIE's original zinc die-cast pullers manufactured by YKK.

The water resistance of the main fabric refers to the functionality of the fabric itself; water may penetrate through seams or zippers.

The polycarbonate material of the main fabric may be scratched by sharp objects or by being caught in the zipper.
