MATERIAL
CORDURA 305 POLYESTER (POLYURETHANE COATING) / NYLON

The main body fabric is made of CORDURA® POLYCARBONATE, an original material developed in collaboration with INVISTA. The base fabric is CORDURA® 305D polyester ox, which is highly durable and resistant to friction and tearing. Its surface features a polycarbonate coating that offers superior durability compared to standard PU coatings, providing increased resistance to friction, wear, and light, while slowing the rate of deterioration caused by hydrolysis, resulting in an excellent water-repellent and waterproof material. It is available in four colors: "BLACK," a unique charcoal-toned black custom-made for CIE; "OLIVE," inspired by the sage green seen in European military wear; "GRAY NAVY," a low-saturation navy inspired by the Polish military; and "LIGHT GRAY," based on the pale gray of all-weather coats used by the U.S. Navy. The tape details use high-density, military-style woven nylon tape characterized by its distinct ribbed texture. The custom-woven CORDURA label is in CIE's original olive color, while the CIE original label is a back-satin tag woven on traditional shuttle looms. The zippers feature custom CIE zinc die-cast YKK pullers.

The waterproofing of the main body fabric refers to the fabric itself; water may enter through stitched areas or zippers.

The polycarbonate material of the main body fabric may be scratched by sharp objects or caught in zippers.
