MATERIAL
CORDURA 305POLYESTER (POLYURETHANE COATING) / NYLON

The main body fabric uses CORDURA® POLYCARBONATE, an original material developed in collaboration with INVISTA. The base fabric is CORDURA® 305D polyester ox, which is highly durable and resistant to friction and tearing. Its surface is treated with a durable polycarbonate coating that offers superior abrasion resistance, lightfastness, and slower degradation due to hydrolysis compared to standard PU coatings, resulting in a material with excellent waterproof and water-repellent properties. It comes in four colors: a unique charcoal-tinted "BLACK" exclusive to CIE; "OLIVE," inspired by sage green seen in European military wear; "GRAY NAVY," a low-saturation navy inspired by the Polish military; and "LIGHT GRAY," modeled after the pale gray of all-weather coats used by the U.S. Navy. The tape details feature high-density, ribbed, military-style woven nylon tape. The custom-woven CORDURA label is in CIE's original olive color, and the original CIE label is made from back satin woven on traditional shuttle looms. The zippers feature CIE original zinc die-cast pullers manufactured by YKK.

The waterproof property of the main body fabric applies to the fabric itself; water may seep in through sewn sections or zippers.
The polycarbonate material of the main body fabric may be scratched by sharp objects or by getting caught in zippers.
