MATERIAL
CORDURA 305 POLYESTER (POLYURETHANE COATING) / NYLON

The main body fabric uses CORDURA® POLYCARBONATE, an original material developed in collaboration with INVISTA. The base fabric is CORDURA® 305D polyester ox, which is highly durable and resistant to friction and tearing. Its surface is treated with a polycarbonate coating that offers superior durability—including higher abrasion resistance, wear resistance, lightfastness, and a slower rate of degradation due to hydrolysis compared to standard PU coatings—resulting in an excellent waterproof and water-repellent material. It is available in four colors: "BLACK," a unique charcoal-toned black custom-made for CIE; "OLIVE," inspired by sage green seen in European military wear; "GRAY NAVY," a low-saturation navy inspired by the Polish military; and "LIGHT GRAY," based on the pale gray of all-weather coats adopted by the US Navy. The tape details feature military-style, high-density woven nylon tape with distinctive ridges. The custom CORDURA woven label is in an original CIE olive color, and the original CIE label is a back-satin name tag woven on traditional shuttle looms. The zippers feature original CIE zinc die-cast YKK pulls.

The waterproof functionality of the main fabric refers to the material itself; water may penetrate through seams or zippers.
The polycarbonate material of the main body can be scratched by sharp objects or by getting caught in zippers, etc.
