The "RAIN CAMO" series, a limited collection of the GRID3 series, is a special series featuring classic GRID3 designs crafted from an original material developed in collaboration with INVISTA. Based on the East German "Strichtarn" rain camouflage pattern, CIE created its own original rain camo design, which was then hand-printed by skilled artisans at a domestic dyeing factory onto our original CORDURA® POLYCARBONATE material. This collection is available exclusively in an "OLIVE" colorway—the most military-inspired shade in the range, perfected through repeated prototyping since the inception of the GRID3 series.

The base fabric is CORDURA® 305D polyester ox, which offers superior resistance to friction and tearing. Its surface is treated with a highly durable polycarbonate coating, which provides better resistance to friction, abrasion, light, and hydrolysis compared to standard PU coatings, resulting in a material with excellent waterproof and water-repellent properties.

The bespoke CORDURA woven label features CIE's original olive color, while the CIE original label is crafted from back-satin fabric woven on traditional shuttle looms. The zippers feature CIE’s original zinc die-cast YKK pull tabs.

ATTENTION
The waterproof properties of the main fabric apply to the material itself; water may seep through seams or zippers.
The polycarbonate material of the main fabric may be damaged by scratching with sharp objects or by getting caught in zippers.
