MATERIAL
CORDURA 305 POLYESTER (POLYURETHANE COATING) / NYLON

The main fabric used is CORDURA® POLYCARBONATE, an original material developed in collaboration with INVISTA. The base fabric is a CORDURA® 305D polyester ox, known for its superior friction and tear resistance. It features a polycarbonate finish, which offers greater durability against friction, abrasion, and light exposure compared to standard PU coatings, while also slowing the rate of deterioration caused by hydrolysis, resulting in a highly waterproof and water-repellent material. It is available in four colors: a unique charcoal-toned "BLACK" exclusive to CIE, "OLIVE" inspired by sage green seen in European military wear, "GRAY NAVY" with a low saturation inspired by the Polish military's navy, and "LIGHT GRAY" based on the pale gray of all-weather coats adopted by the U.S. Navy. The custom CORDURA woven label is in an original CIE olive color, and the original CIE label is made of back satin woven on traditional shuttle looms. The zippers feature custom CIE zinc die-cast YKK pulls.

The waterproof property of the main fabric refers to the fabric itself; water may seep in through seams or zippers.

The polycarbonate material of the main fabric may be scratched by sharp objects or by getting caught in zippers.
