MATERIAL
CORDURA 305POLYESTER (POLYURETHANE COATING) / NYLON
The main fabric uses CORDURA® POLYCARBONATE, an original material developed in collaboration with INVISTA. The base fabric is CORDURA® 305D polyester ox, known for its superior durability, friction resistance, and tear strength. The surface is treated with a polycarbonate coating that provides higher abrasion resistance, lightfastness, and resistance to hydrolysis-induced degradation compared to standard PU coatings, resulting in a material with excellent waterproof and water-repellent properties.
Available in three colors: a unique charcoal-toned "BLACK" exclusive to CIE, an "OLIVE" inspired by sage green seen in European military wear, and "GRAY NAVY," a low-saturation navy inspired by the Polish military.
The "SOFT TROLLEY" is a 4-wheel trolley bag featuring a grid-like nylon tape design characteristic of the GRID3 series, allowing for various items to be attached. It is equipped with a durable resin handle on top, a bottle pocket on the side that can be stowed away when not in use, and a resin hook for hanging items like shopping bags.
The casters are manufactured by HINOMOTO, known for their lightweight, quiet, durable, and smooth operation, ensuring agile mobility. Both sides feature zip pockets and nylon tape handles for pulling the bag from either direction. The main opening is a large U-shape for high visibility. The front compartment consists of a free-access space with a center zip pocket, allowing items to be retrieved even in tight spaces where the main compartment cannot be fully opened. The interior includes a round-zip divider with three zip pockets and four additional zip pockets at the bottom for detailed organization. The body is reinforced with a combination of lightweight, strong hollow-core and Belporen cores. Despite its lightweight construction, the bag is highly durable, making it a functional choice for travel and business.
The tape detailing uses military-style, high-density woven nylon tape with a distinctive ribbed texture. The CORDURA custom woven label features CIE's original olive color, and the CIE brand label is made of back-satin fabric woven on traditional shuttle looms. The zippers are equipped with original CIE zinc die-cast YKK pulls.
