The "RAIN CAMO" series, a limited collection of the GRID3 line, is a special series featuring the classic GRID3 silhouettes crafted from an original material developed in collaboration with INVISTA. Based on the East German "Strichtarn" rain camouflage pattern, CIE created its own unique rain camo motif, which is then hand-printed by artisans at a domestic dye works onto our original CORDURA® POLYCARBONATE material. This collection is offered exclusively in "OLIVE," a color developed through repeated prototyping since the inception of the GRID3 series, representing the most military-inspired aesthetic within our standard color lineup.

The base fabric is CORDURA® 305D polyester ox, known for its excellent resistance to friction and tearing. Its surface is treated with a durable polycarbonate coating, which offers superior abrasion resistance, lightfastness, and a slower rate of degradation from hydrolysis compared to standard PU coatings, resulting in a material with excellent waterproof and water-repellent properties.

The tape details feature military-style high-density woven nylon tape characterized by its distinct ribbed texture. The bespoke CORDURA woven label comes in a CIE-exclusive olive color, and the CIE original label is a back-satin tag woven on traditional shuttle looms. The zippers are equipped with CIE original zinc die-cast YKK pullers.

ATTENTION
The waterproof property of the main fabric refers to the material itself; water may penetrate through seams or zippers.

The polycarbonate material of the main fabric may be damaged by scratching with sharp objects or by getting caught in zippers.
