LIMITED EDITION - RAIN CAMO -
The "RAIN CAMO" series, a limited collection of the GRID3 series, is a special edition featuring the GRID3's classic silhouettes. It is crafted from a unique material: CORDURA® POLYCARBONATE, developed by INVISTA at our request, and then hand-printed by artisans at a domestic dye works using a custom CIE rain camo pattern based on the East German "Strichtarn" camouflage. This series is available exclusively in an "OLIVE" colorway—the most military-inspired option—which we have been prototype-testing since the inception of the GRID3 series.

The base fabric is CORDURA® 305D polyester ox, known for its superior durability against friction and tearing. Its surface is treated with a highly durable polycarbonate coating, which offers better resistance to abrasion, light, and hydrolysis-related degradation compared to standard PU coatings, providing excellent waterproof and water-repellent properties.

The military-inspired GRID3 "DUFFEL BAG" is a highly functional 3-way bag that, despite its large capacity, remains lightweight at approximately 760g. The exterior features a bottle pocket and a zippered pocket for mobile devices and small items. The back panel includes a large-capacity zip pocket, a key hook, and a quick-release carry strap. The interior is equipped with a Velcro-closure zip pocket and a dedicated sleeve that can accommodate a 16-inch laptop. The bag can be carried in three ways: over the shoulder, crossbody with the padded shoulder strap, or by hand using the top handle. The high-quality domestically produced nylon tape, dyed to match the main body, features a military-style high-density ribbed weave, arranged in a grid pattern to allow for attaching carabiners and accessories. The original CIE brand label is woven on a traditional shuttle loom using back satin, and the CORDURA label is an olive-colored woven tag exclusively permitted for CIE by INVISTA. The zippers feature custom CIE zinc die-cast pullers manufactured by YKK.
