The main fabric is made of CORDURA® POLYCARBONATE, an original material developed in collaboration with INVISTA. The base fabric utilizes CORDURA® 305D polyester ox, which is highly durable and resistant to friction and tearing. Its surface features a polycarbonate coating that is more resistant to friction, abrasion, and light, and slower to degrade from hydrolysis than standard PU coatings, resulting in a material with excellent waterproof and water-repellent properties. It is available in four colors: a unique charcoal-toned "BLACK" exclusive to CIE, "OLIVE" inspired by sage green seen in European military wear, "GRAY NAVY" inspired by the low-saturation navy of the Polish military, and "LIGHT GRAY" modeled after the pale gray all-weather coats adopted by the U.S. Navy.
The military-inspired GRID3 "MINI DUFFEL BAG" is a lightweight, durable, and highly functional 3WAY bag. The exterior is equipped with a knit pocket for bottles and a zip pocket for small items. It also features a key hook for securing keys, a quick-release carry tape, and an interior with a zip patch pocket and a pocket that fits an 11-inch tablet. It can be carried in three ways: over the shoulder, crossbody with the padded shoulder strap, or by hand using the top handle. The high-quality nylon tape, produced domestically and dyed to match the main body color, is a military-style, tightly woven nylon tape characterized by its high-density ribbed texture, arranged in a grid pattern to allow for attaching carabiners and other accessories. The CIE original label is a back-satin tag woven on traditional shuttle looms. The CORDURA label is a CIE-original olive-colored woven tag authorized by INVISTA. The zippers feature CIE-original YKK zinc die-cast pullers.
