CIE-NEWS PAPER BAG - L

The main body fabric is made of "KONBU-N," a material developed by Komatsu Matere. Through a special treatment, each individual fiber swells, creating a fabric that maintains the same robustness and durability as conventional nylon while offering a texture similar to cotton canvas, characterized by its unique dry feel, firmness, and lightweight nature. The top gusset features a zippered pocket for storing items such as IC cards and keys.

The shoulder strap combines the same fabric with acrylic tape and is finished with four-row stitching, while the main body features triple stitching, reproducing the details of 1950s-60s US newspaper bags with a modern modification. The zipper tape uses YKK water-repellent zippers, making this a series with enhanced functionality. The CIE original tag is a back-satin woven label produced on vintage shuttle looms. The zipper pulls are original zinc die-cast YKK pulls designed by CIE.
