The "RAIN CAMO" series, a limited collection of the GRID3 series, is a special series featuring classic GRID3 designs crafted from an original material developed in collaboration with INVISTA. Based on the East German "Strichtarn" (rain pattern) camouflage, CIE created its own original rain camo print, which is then hand-screen printed by craftsmen at a domestic Japanese dye works onto our original CORDURA® POLYCARBONATE fabric. This series is available exclusively in an "OLIVE" colorway, which is the most military-inspired among our standard color options and was developed through repeated prototyping since the inception of the GRID3 series.

The main body fabric uses our original CORDURA® POLYCARBONATE material developed in collaboration with INVISTA. The base fabric is a highly durable, tear-resistant CORDURA® 305D polyester ox, which is treated with a polycarbonate coating. Compared to standard PU coatings, this finish offers superior resistance to abrasion, wear, and light, while slowing the rate of deterioration caused by hydrolysis, resulting in excellent waterproof and water-repellent properties.
The front features a knit bottle pocket and a zip pocket for mobile devices or small items. The interior is equipped with a urethane-padded pocket suitable for storing a tablet.
The tape details use military-style high-density woven nylon tape characterized by its distinctive ridges, and the shoulder strap features a webbing design that allows for attaching gear.
Additionally, the CIE original woven label is crafted on a back satin fabric using traditional shuttle looms. The zippers feature CIE-original zinc die-cast YKK pull tabs.

ATTENTION
The waterproof property of the main body fabric refers to the fabric itself; water may penetrate through the seams or zippers.
The polycarbonate material of the main body fabric may be scratched by sharp objects or by getting caught in zippers or similar hardware.

CIE's original rain camo pattern, based on "Strichtarn," a camouflage pattern originating in East Germany.
It is characterized by countless fine vertical dashed lines (raindrops) that look like "rain," which is why it is called rain camo or raindrop pattern.

Equipped with an external bottle pocket. It allows for quick access, and thanks to the waterproof fabric, you can store a bottle even when wet. The design is engineered to minimize impact on internal storage space.
