The "RAIN CAMO" series, a limited collection of the GRID3 line, is a special series featuring classic GRID3 shapes crafted from a material developed by CIE. It utilizes an original rain camo pattern based on "Strichtarn," a camouflage pattern originating in East Germany. This pattern is hand-printed by artisans at a domestic dyeing factory onto CORDURA® POLYCARBONATE, an original material developed in collaboration with INVISTA. It is available exclusively in "OLIVE," a color that has been repeatedly prototyped and refined since the inception of the GRID3 series, representing the most military-inspired aesthetic among the regular color lineup.

The base fabric is CORDURA® 305D polyester ox, known for its exceptional durability against friction and tearing. Its surface features a polycarbonate coating that is more resistant to friction, abrasion, light, and hydrolysis compared to standard PU coatings, providing superior waterproof and water-repellent properties.

The tape details feature military-style, high-density woven nylon tape with a distinctive ribbed texture. The CORDURA custom-woven label comes in a CIE-original olive color, and the CIE original brand label is made from back-satin fabric woven on traditional shuttle looms. The zippers feature CIE-original, zinc die-cast YKK pullers.

The waterproof property of the main fabric refers to the functionality of the fabric itself; water may penetrate through the seams or zippers.

The polycarbonate material of the main fabric may be scratched by contact with sharp objects or by getting caught in zippers.
